Staff Physician – Plastic Surgery Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plastic Surgeon to join the Integrated Surgical Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi as a Staff Physician (Consultant). The role involves delivering high‑quality surgical and medical care to patients within the Plastic Surgery specialty.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including diagnosis, treatment planning and postoperative follow‑up within the Integrated Surgical Institute – Plastic Surgery specialty.
• Prescribe and administer medications, therapies and specialized medical interventions to treat or prevent illness, disease or injury.
• Analyze medical records, reports and test results to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Perform surgical procedures and operations appropriate to the patient’s condition.
• Document patient encounters, treatment notes and referrals in accordance with clinical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical and non‑medical staff to ensure coordinated, culturally sensitive patient care.
• Participate in administrative activities such as committees, task forces and performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to ethical, regulatory and institutional policies, including individual clinical privileges.

Required profile

• For physicians from Tier 1 countries: minimum two (2) years of post‑qualification experience; for Tier 2 countries: minimum five (5) years.
• Valid medical license/registration in the home country or country of last employment.
• Medical degree (MD, MBBS, MBChB, DO) with recognized specialty certification in Plastic Surgery as defined by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
