Stakeholder Engineer

About the role

The Stakeholder Engineer will support the identification, coordination and management of relationships with key stakeholders for master‑planning, building and infrastructure projects during the design stage. You will ensure stakeholder requirements are captured and integrated into project deliverables while facilitating timely acquisition of permits and approvals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a comprehensive stakeholder register covering clients, government entities, utilities and interest groups.
• Implement stakeholder engagement plans and keep regular communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor stakeholder requirements, flag potential issues, risks and constraints.
• Coordinate submission, tracking and follow‑up of NOCs, permits, approvals and related documentation.
• Prepare progress reports, trackers and status updates for internal teams and clients.
• Attend stakeholder meetings, workshops and technical discussions, capturing comments and ensuring they are communicated to the design team.
• Liaise with internal disciplines to embed stakeholder requirements into designs and deliverables.
• Support resolution of stakeholder comments and drive timely closure of actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, Mechanical or related discipline).
• 5‑7 years of experience in stakeholder coordination or engineering on master‑planning, building or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience working with government authorities, utility agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Strong understanding of permitting, NOC processes and stakeholder engagement practices.
• Excellent communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
