Standing Seam Technical Senior Engineer

About the role

NAFFCO is seeking a Senior Engineer specialized in standing seam roofing and metal cladding. The role involves delivering complete engineering designs, technical documentation, and coordination for projects across Dubai and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare engineering calculations, detailed shop and fabrication drawings, and installation details using AutoCAD.
• Generate accurate material take‑offs (MTO) and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for each project.
• Produce and submit technical submittals, material approvals, method statements, and related documentation.
• Review project specifications, tender documents, IFC drawings, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, architects, structural engineers, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Respond to technical queries, prepare RFIs, and provide on‑site engineering support.
• Ensure designs comply with local authority regulations, international standards, and manufacturing constraints.
• Maintain revision control and proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with standing seam roofing and metal cladding systems.
• Strong practical knowledge of roofing components, detailing, and installation requirements.
• Proven ability to prepare shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Familiarity with UAE/local authority standards is preferred.
