Steward

About the role

We are looking for a Steward to join the kitchen team at a luxury hotel in Dubai. The role involves maintaining cleanliness, supporting the culinary team and ensuring all dishware and equipment are processed to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous service and set a professional example for all outlet staff.
• Keep the work area and surrounding zones clean, organized and compliant with hotel standards.
• Perform general cleaning duties as directed by the Head of Department.
• Report equipment failures promptly and operate dishwashing machines safely.
• Adhere to fire, hygiene, health and safety regulations.
• Maintain punctuality, proper uniform and personal hygiene.
• Assist with inventory checks of products and equipment.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans and other kitchen items according to performance standards.
• Separate and manage waste in line with hotel garbage regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in a stewarding or dishwashing role.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and handle pressure in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to follow hotel policies and maintain high personal appearance standards.
