Steward – Kitchen Support & Cleanliness

About the role

The Steward ensures the kitchen runs smoothly by keeping it clean, supplied, safe and ready for service. This behind‑the‑scenes position directly supports every guest experience in our new NALA stores in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Warewashing & equipment wash: operate dishwasher, monitor chemical levels, follow the three‑sink method and sanitize all items.
• Waste & refuse management: empty bins, separate food waste, recycling and general refuse, clean bin areas and monitor grease traps.
• Kitchen support: restock clean equipment and supplies, sweep and mop floors regularly, clear drains and report any broken or leaking equipment.
• Setup & cleanliness: maintain organized workstations, ensure the kitchen is ready for service and keep all areas at NALA standards throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Hardworking, reliable and detail‑focused.
• Willing to be cross‑trained across front and back of house.
• Team‑oriented with a commitment to safety and hygiene.

Required skills

• Dishwasher operation and temperature/chemical dosage control.
• Three‑sink washing method.
• Chemical handling and verification.
• Floor sweeping and mopping.
• Waste segregation and bin management.
