About the role
The Stock Controller ensures accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise within the warehouse, supporting smooth shop operations and inventory integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Receive merchandise and verify quantities both physically and electronically.
- Inspect product quality, report damaged or incorrect items to supervisors.
- Classify and store items daily according to shop procedures.
- Organise merchandise by characteristics, tag new or returned items as instructed.
- Coordinate warehouse cleaning with designated cleaning agents.
- Participate in inventory counts and report end‑of‑day status to the Shop Manager.
- Assist Sales Associates in replenishing shelf stock.
- Report suspected theft or loss‑prevention issues to the relevant department.
- Maintain knowledge of sales policies, promotions, and new items.
