Store Assistant

About the role

The Store Assistant will manage the flow of goods in a busy Dubai warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory records, timely material issuance, and strict adherence to health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Count, inspect and document all incoming and outgoing goods.
• Issue material to the shop floor promptly and record every transaction in the ERP system.
• Participate in monthly stock‑takes and maintain 100% inventory accuracy between physical stock and ERP data.
• Monitor stock levels, place consumable orders with the purchasing department and prevent shortages.
• Control paper usage and promote sustainable printing practices.
• Follow and enforce quality, H&S and environmental procedures, reporting any unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Handle heavy materials safely, using appropriate trolleys, tables and personal protective equipment.
• Be familiar with emergency equipment, fire alarms, extinguishers and evacuation procedures.

• Physical capability to handle large and heavy items.

• Proficiency with an ERP system for inventory tracking.

• Knowledge of MSDS, safe work instructions and emergency procedures.
