Store Design & Planning Project Manager (Fixed-Term)

About the role

Based in Dubai and reporting to the Store Design & Planning Manager, you will lead Cartier’s specialist point‑of‑sale projects across the MEIAT region. You will oversee the full project lifecycle—from feasibility and design development through construction, handover, and ongoing boutique maintenance—ensuring a consistent, high‑quality brand environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage specialist POS openings, relocations and renovations from feasibility to handover, assessing costs, timelines and site requirements.
• Coordinate with central SDP, landlords, architects and local teams to define project requirements and ensure alignment with Cartier standards.
• Review layouts, technical drawings and construction documentation throughout all phases.
• Control project schedules, budgets, tenders and contractors, delivering on quality, cost and timing targets.
• Oversee permits, procurement and installation with internal teams (Retail, IT, Security, Logistics, Marketing, Procurement) and external partners.
• Lead regional boutique maintenance, improving procedures, coordinating works and minimizing operational disruption.
• Build and manage a reliable network of contractors and vendors, supervising budgets and contracts.
• Conduct regular boutique condition audits and monitor maintenance performance.
• Ensure architectural, design and brand standards are consistently applied across all projects and existing boutiques.

Required profile

• University degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design or a related field.
• Proven experience in store planning, project management or facilities/maintenance management, preferably within luxury retail or high‑end hospitality.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from design through construction and handover, with exposure to multi‑site maintenance.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, finishes, MEP systems and retail construction methods.
• Fluent English; Arabic or another language is a plus.
