Store Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Store Manager will lead a retail outlet for Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle, ensuring sales targets are met while delivering an excellent customer experience. This role oversees daily store operations, staff development, and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales performance and profitability through innovative customer attraction strategies.
• Monitor stock levels, identify best‑sellers and slow‑moving items, and develop action plans to boost overall sales.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, health & safety, security, and record‑keeping procedures.
• Coach, train and mentor store teams to enhance product knowledge and customer service.
• Manage cash handling, stockroom administration, and inventory processes.
• Provide analytical feedback to Operations, Buying and Planning on product range, pricing and competitive activities.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of retail industry experience with a managerial background.
• Proven track record of maximizing business performance.
• Strong understanding of key customer segments and ability to guide teams accordingly.
• Ability to identify critical paths, make decisive decisions and involve stakeholders promptly.
