Storekeeper / Receiving Clerk

About the role

The Storekeeper / Receiving Clerk supports the hotel’s operations by handling all incoming merchandise, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining accurate inventory levels. This full‑time position works on‑site at the Al Multaqa Street location in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, stage, and label merchandise for placement in the appropriate department.
• Stack received items on pallets or carts and rotate stock to maintain freshness.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies and notify supervisors of low stock.
• Inspect deliveries for quality, freshness, and correctness; reject damaged or incorrect items.
• Store perishables according to food‑safety policies and maintain clean, sanitized refrigeration areas.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions and complete required safety training.
• Follow all company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses needed.
