Strategic Relations Lead – Building & Infrastructure (UAE)

About the role

The Strategic Relations Lead for Building & Infrastructure will drive Bureau Veritas’ presence in the UAE market by managing high‑level government and industry relationships. Reporting to the B&I Lead – UAE, you will act as the primary contact for strategic accounts and represent the company at key events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with senior executives, government officials, authorities, developers and industry leaders.
• Serve as the main point of contact for strategic accounts and high‑profile stakeholders.
• Represent Bureau Veritas at industry events, conferences, forums and networking engagements to enhance brand visibility.
• Build and nurture relationships with municipalities, regulators and semi‑government organisations, facilitating introductions and meetings with decision‑makers.
• Monitor regulatory developments, identify new business opportunities arising from initiatives and programs.
• Support the creation of strategic partnerships with public‑sector organisations.
• Identify and unlock new business opportunities within the UAE construction and infrastructure sector.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Public Relations, International Relations or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in the UAE, with a strong network among government entities, authorities, developers and major private‑sector organisations.
• Proven track record in strategic account management, government relations or executive stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of UAE government structures, construction, infrastructure and building sectors.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and public speaking abilities.
• Commercial acumen and strategic thinking with a focus on market intelligence and business growth.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems.
