Strategic Security Advisor

About the role

TrendAI, the global AI security leader within Trend Micro, helps organisations gain full AI visibility and consolidated security. The Strategic Security Advisor owns business and security outcomes for strategic customers, acting as the trusted security expert and post‑sales coordinator.

Key responsibilities

• Design and drive the Security Account Success Plan (ASP) and monthly credit burn curve aligned with business objectives and threat landscape.
• Conduct security gap analyses, technology fingerprinting and architecture reviews, delivering reference architectures and deployment blueprints for XDR, identity, email, cloud and exposure management workloads.
• Lead executive cadence, architecture reviews and value reviews, linking telemetry and usage to measurable risk reduction and business impact.
• Identify expansion opportunities, manage renewals, and build get‑well plans with architecture remediation paths.
• Serve as the single post‑sales security authority, coordinating Customer Success, Support, Professional Services and partners.

Required profile

• 10+ years in security consulting, cloud security, security architecture or security leadership.
• Proven record managing enterprise accounts with measurable impact on retention, expansion and security outcomes.
• Experience designing hybrid/multi‑cloud security architectures and running QBRs/EBRs that tie architecture decisions to risk reduction.
• Strong executive presence and ability to communicate complex security concepts to C‑level stakeholders.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of enterprise security architecture frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, Zero Trust).
• Expertise in SOC operations, SIEM/XDR, exposure and risk management, identity security, cloud security (CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP) and email security.
• Ability to translate telemetry and usage data into actionable architectural insights.
• Experience with AI‑first security tools, automation and integration of security platforms.
