Strategy & Operations Manager

About the role

AI71 is scaling its Ask business unit and needs a Strategy & Operations Manager to drive planning, performance and economic analysis of client engagements. The role sits at the heart of decision‑making, working closely with senior leadership to shape product, market and investment priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles, set objectives and monitor progress.
• Develop and maintain the business unit budget in partnership with central finance.
• Conduct headcount planning, forecasting needs and associated costs.
• Prepare evidence‑based business reviews and performance dashboards.
• Analyse engagement economics – cost to win, deliver and support versus revenue – and surface margin insights by client, project and use case.
• Identify cost drivers (engineering time, compute, inference, support) and evaluate pricing alignment.
• Research market trends and competitor offerings to inform strategic direction.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in strategy, operations or finance within a technology‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience managing budgeting, headcount planning and performance reporting.
• Comfort working with senior leadership and influencing cross‑functional decisions.
