Structural Engineer – Large-Scale Buildings (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join Sener’s Dubai team, delivering complex, large‑scale building projects across the United Arab Emirates. The role involves developing high‑quality structural designs and models, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support design and development of structural systems for large‑scale buildings from concept through IFC stage.
• Create and refine structural analysis models using appropriate software.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, technical reports, specifications and other documentation.
• Design and model reinforced concrete, steel and other structural systems.
• Coordinate structural designs with architecture, civil, MEP, geotechnical and other disciplines.
• Ensure designs meet project requirements, codes and Sener quality procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews, workshops and coordination meetings.
• Identify and resolve structural design issues and coordination conflicts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably on large‑scale building projects.
• Proven experience in reinforced concrete and/or steel design.
• Demonstrated ability to produce structural calculations, drawings and technical reports.
• Strong knowledge of international design standards and codes.
