Structural Inspector

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Structural Inspector to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role involves assessing the integrity of road and highway structures, ensuring compliance with design and regulatory standards, and delivering clear, actionable reports.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized inspections of bridges, flyovers, tunnels, retaining walls, culverts and related installations.
• Verify that construction work matches approved IFC drawings, technical specifications and method statements.
• Perform visual checks, dimensional measurements and non‑destructive testing (NDT) on concrete and steel elements.
• Monitor concrete activities such as formwork, reinforcement placement, concreting, post‑tensioning and curing.
• Record inspection data, issue non‑conformance reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate daily inspection activities with contractors, consultants and project engineers.
• Support shop‑drawing reviews, material submittals and work inspection requests.
• Participate in site meetings with clients, authorities and third‑party auditors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a structural focus; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in structural inspection on road, highway or bridge projects.
• Proven ability to work with consultants and contractors in a fast‑paced environment.
