Student Admissions Officer

About the role

The Student Admissions Officer will provide administrative support and coordinate post‑enrolment and onboarding activities for new students at RIT Dubai. The role ensures a smooth transition from admission to the first semester while delivering high‑quality customer service and complying with university policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate student records, ensuring submission of final attested transcripts and equivalency certificates.
• Verify that applicants meet all admission requirements and assist in issuing final admission decisions.
• Guide students through the enrolment process and liaise with internal departments to facilitate onboarding.
• Follow up with first‑year students to confirm that their records are complete and updated during the initial semester.
• Engage with students to address concerns, support decision‑making and promote retention.
• Coordinate placement tests for new entrants.
• Evaluate applications in line with RIT policies and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar role within the higher‑education sector in the UAE.
• Fluency in English and at least one additional language.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, problem‑solving and strong organizational abilities.
