Student Recruitment Assistant – Dubai

About the role

The Student Recruitment Assistant will support the External Relations team at the University of Birmingham's Dubai campus, helping to attract and enrol prospective students. This full‑time, three‑year fixed‑term position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, multicultural academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering student recruitment events and outreach activities.
• Maintain and update prospective student databases and communication records.
• Provide administrative support for admissions processes, including handling enquiries and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth recruitment cycles.
• Support campus-wide initiatives such as welcome weeks and graduation ceremonies.
• Prepare reports and analytics on recruitment performance.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in higher‑education recruitment or administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with CRM or student‑information systems is advantageous.
