Studio Lead – Architecture & Design

About the role

10 Design is seeking a Studio Lead to head its Dubai studio, expand its footprint across the UAE and the wider Middle East, and ensure the successful delivery of projects through a global network of design studios. The role combines regional business development with studio management, requiring strong leadership and market insight.

Key responsibilities

• Represent 10 Design in Dubai and the Middle East, building and maintaining relationships with clients, developers, investors, consultants, and contractors.
• Identify new business opportunities using regional knowledge and convert them into secured projects.
• Collaborate with the CEO, Growth Board, Design Board, and commercial leadership to shape and execute the regional growth strategy.
• Lead client presentations, bids, proposals, and strategic pursuits, and represent the firm at industry events and forums.
• Gather market intelligence on client needs, competitor activity, procurement trends, and emerging opportunities.
• Mentor and manage the Dubai team, fostering a high‑performing studio culture and ensuring alignment with the global 10 Design network.
• Support recruitment, development, and performance management for the studio.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (approximately 15 years) in architecture, masterplanning, or related design disciplines.
• Proven track record in regional business development and client relationship management.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary design teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively across global offices and integrate local and international delivery capabilities.
