Study Manager

About the role

Worley is seeking a Study Manager to lead small‑value engineering studies and front‑end design projects across the lifecycle from Conceptual Engineering to Detailed Design. The role focuses on brownfield and existing‑facility improvements, requiring strong technical judgement and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead and deliver small‑value studies and front‑end engineering design packages.
• Prepare and control study execution plans, deliverable registers, assumptions, decisions, actions, risks and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams covering process, safety, layout, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, civil, structural and procurement.
• Present recommendations to senior client management and internal leadership, defending technical and commercial decisions.
• Support debottlenecking, capacity and operability improvements, safeguard reviews and tie‑in definition.

Required profile

• Process‑led Chemical Engineer with front‑end project development experience.
• Proven ability to work with senior client and asset stakeholders.
• Strong commercial awareness and confidence in presenting to senior audiences.
• Excellent conflict‑resolution skills while maintaining study outcomes.
