Superintendent Technical Dry and Cont

About the role

The Superintendent Technical Dry and Cont is responsible for the overall management and technical operations of ADNOC Logistics & Services' fleet of vessels. This senior position ensures that ships are safe, efficient, reliable and compliant with all applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance, repair, budgeting and survey schedules for assigned vessels.
• Supervise onboard assessments, inspections, docking and dry‑docking processes.
• Review and approve ship repair requests, ensuring compliance with class societies, IMO, OCIMF and ICS standards while staying within budget.
• Prepare dry‑dock repair specifications, analyse tender documents and monitor repair execution.
• Ensure timely renewal of ship certifications and implementation of planned maintenance schedules.
• Manage acquisition of equipment and spare parts required for maintenance activities.
• Provide technical advice to shipmasters, chief engineers and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical management of commercial vessels.
• Strong knowledge of IMO regulations, OCIMF and International Classification Society (ICS) rules.
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs for repair and maintenance projects.
• Experience supervising dry‑docking operations and tender processes.
• Familiarity with ship certification renewal and maintenance planning.
