Supply Chain Manager – Strategic Raw Materials

About the role

Emirates Global Aluminium is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to lead the procurement of alloys, refractory and relining materials. You will ensure the timely delivery of high‑quality, cost‑effective supplies that support plant operations and corporate strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the annual procurement plan for alloys, refractory and relining materials.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams.
• Develop comprehensive purchasing plans based on material needs and timelines.
• Provide end‑users with purchasing advice on product availability, cost, quality and delivery.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end purchasing process, ensuring efficient requisition handling and competitive terms.
• Monitor tender cycles, evaluate bids, negotiate price, payment and shipping terms, and shortlist preferred suppliers.
• Prepare recommendations for the Strategic Procurement Committee and support budget forecasting.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years (72 months) of experience in procurement or supply‑chain management within an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of alloys, refractory and relining material markets.
• Proven ability to work with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• UAE national talent preferred, though not mandatory.
