SW Lead Architect

About the role

The Software Lead Architect will define and drive the software architecture for complex products from concept through production. You will work closely with R&D, hardware, systems, manufacturing, suppliers and customers to deliver robust, scalable, and production‑ready software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define, document and maintain the overall software architecture aligned with product, system, customer and regulatory requirements.
• Translate system‑level requirements into clear software design and implementation specifications.
• Lead design activities across embedded, firmware and system‑level software, providing hands‑on technical guidance.
• Support the full software development lifecycle, from requirements definition to customer release.
• Lead software integration, system bring‑up, prototype validation and transition to production deployment.
• Conduct integration readiness assessments, release reviews and oversee configuration, firmware updates and diagnostics.
• Define and support verification and validation activities at unit, integration and system levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in embedded and system‑level software development.
• Proven ability to lead architecture design and guide cross‑functional teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with experience in root‑cause analysis and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with hardware, systems and manufacturing teams.
