Systems Engineer – Modern Workplace

About the role

The Al Futtaim Group Enterprise IT team is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join the Modern Workplace function. You will provide Level‑2 support for Office 365 services, manage user lifecycles and ensure the reliability of shared storage solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support Office 365 and related technologies, including Exchange Online, Exchange Server, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, and licensing.
• Create and manage Active Directory users, email addresses and access permissions.
• Provision and maintain shared folder infrastructure.
• Perform proactive data consistency checks in Active Directory.
• Monitor license usage and drive optimization.
• Collaborate with end‑users and vendors to support applications and environments.
• Resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing O365 suite in a large enterprise.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Service Request, Change Management).
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (Enterprise Administrator Expert, Identity and Access Administrator Associate).
