Talent Development Officer

About the role

Black & Grey HR is looking for a Talent Development Officer to support a client in the oil & gas sector in Abu Dhabi. The role will drive talent management, learning initiatives, graduate programmes and employee engagement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate talent reviews, assessments and succession planning while maintaining talent databases.
• Manage learning frameworks, training calendars, needs analysis, workshops and evaluate programme effectiveness.
• Oversee graduate development programmes, individual development plans and career pathways.
• Support leadership development, professional certifications and partnerships with learning institutions.
• Execute employee engagement surveys, analyse results and monitor action plans.
• Organise town‑halls, employee workshops, internal communications and engagement events.
• Assist with employee benefits, wellbeing programmes and related queries.
• Manage L&D and engagement vendors, maintain HRIS data, reporting and budget tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• Proven experience in talent management, learning & development, succession planning and employee engagement.
• Strong coordination, stakeholder management, reporting and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills across multiple organisational levels.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS platforms
• Familiarity with psychometric/assessment tools
