Tax Manager – Real Estate (UAE)

About the role

Mira Construction is seeking a Tax Manager with a focus on real estate to lead tax compliance and strategy for its development projects across the UAE. The role will ensure adherence to local tax laws while optimizing tax positions to support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all tax compliance requirements for real estate development and construction projects.
• Prepare and review corporate tax returns, VAT filings, and related documentation.
• Provide expert tax advice on acquisitions, disposals, development costs, and investments.
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams to structure transactions tax‑efficiently.
• Monitor and interpret changes in UAE tax laws and real‑estate tax policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and consultants during audits.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks associated with real‑estate activities.
• Develop tax planning strategies to optimise the company’s tax position.
• Maintain proper documentation and internal controls related to taxation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional tax qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, or CTA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of tax experience, with significant focus on real‑estate development or construction.
• Strong knowledge of UAE corporate tax, VAT, and real‑estate‑specific tax regulations.
• Proven ability to liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and external consultants.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
