Team Lead HSE – Offshore Project

About the role

The Team Lead HSE will oversee health, safety and environmental performance for a large offshore oil and gas project based in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to senior project management, the role ensures that all activities comply with KBR standards and client requirements while supporting sustainable project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor HSE plans, procedures and risk assessments for the offshore project.
• Lead HSE audits, inspections and incident investigations on site.
• Coordinate HSE activities with contractors, subcontractors and internal disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance on offshore construction, installation and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, client specifications and international standards.
• Prepare HSE reporting, dashboards and performance metrics for senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• At least 6 years of experience on offshore projects, including specification development.
• 5+ years in a similar HSE leadership role on FEED/EPC mega‑projects (>$1 billion).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
• Proven track record of managing HSE on offshore construction sites.
