Team Lead HVAC Fabrication Detailing

About the role

The Team Lead – HVAC Fabrication Detailing will head the technical delivery of HVAC ductwork fabrication detailing and BIM coordination for assigned projects. Based in Axium Global’s Dubai office, the role ensures that all models, shop drawings and installation documents are accurate, fabrication‑ready and compliant with Australian Standards and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day HVAC fabrication detailing delivery, allocate tasks and balance priorities across multiple projects.
• Review coordinated HVAC models, shop drawings, spool drawings and supporting documentation before issue.
• Own QA/QC of deliverables, guaranteeing LOD 300‑400 models are constructible and meet project requirements.
• Provide technical direction to the detailing team and resolve complex fabrication and coordination issues.
• Coordinate with international project stakeholders, including Australian clients, to ensure seamless information flow.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in HVAC fabrication detailing and BIM coordination.
• Proven ability to lead a technical team and manage multiple project deadlines.
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards and project specifications for HVAC systems.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with global project teams.
