Team Leader Business Development Offshore Chartering

About the role

ADNOC Logistics & Services is seeking a Team Leader to drive business development and chartering activities for its offshore portfolio. The role provides strategic direction, leads a commercial team, and ensures alignment with the company’s broader objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute tendering strategies (Charter In/Out) to secure contracts while maintaining transparency and best commercial practices.
• Supervise and coordinate the commercial team’s activities within the assigned area to achieve functional targets.
• Develop short‑, medium‑ and long‑term business strategies and contribute to the Business Unit commercial plan.
• Represent the company at client and contractor meetings related to chartering tenders.
• Support the Commercial Manager in meeting departmental objectives and process compliance.
• Analyse monthly management reports, prepare summaries, and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify performance improvement opportunities across commercial sections and coach teams accordingly.
• Plan, train, and develop staff to enhance proficiency and achieve section goals.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a commercial or chartering environment.
• Strong understanding of offshore chartering and business development principles.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
• Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities.
