Team Leader – FM MEP Plumbing

About the role

VIVO Defence Services is seeking a Team Leader for FM MEP Plumbing to oversee the maintenance of plumbing and pumping assets at Dubai Airports. The role ensures high reliability, safety, and efficiency during each shift while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians and assistant technicians, allocating work, materials and safety resources for each shift.
• Interpret and apply circuit, wiring, schematic and layout drawings across all plumbing systems.
• Set up, operate and interpret results from mechanical/plumbing test equipment.
• Maintain compliance with local and international mechanical/plumbing standards and regulations.
• Provide rapid, effective technical solutions during emergencies and critical operational failures.
• Troubleshoot and maintain high‑pressure piping systems larger than 6 inches.
• Prepare detailed reports and manage work orders within the CMMS.
• Promote a “get it right first time” attitude and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with plumbing and pumping systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a technical team in a high‑pressure environment.
• Excellent decision‑making skills during emergency situations.
• Commitment to health, safety and welfare of self and others.
