Team Leader – Tawtheeq

About the role

The Tawtheeq Team Leader manages the Tawtheeq hub, the central point for the Branch Network to handle enquiries related to GCD, AML, RIM relationships and other compliance matters. The role also provides business insight, reviews and reports to senior management to improve overall performance and productivity of the network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities of the Tawtheeq hub.
• Ensure the team meets deadlines and complies with UAECB response TAT.
• Handle escalation enquiries for the team.
• Maintain accuracy, timeliness and relevance of MIS reports.
• Own the centralized MIS tracker and develop new MIS formats, templates and KPIs.
• Support stakeholder needs and align efforts across functions.
• Update and review bank policies and procedures in response to regulatory changes and audit findings.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly issue presentations and reports.
• Apply information‑system expertise to improve action plans and processes.
• Prepare analytical studies of team performance and contribute to business planning.
• Create and maintain issue logs, summaries and updates.
• Complete all required AML, compliance and related training.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of GCD and compliance regulations for compliance officers.
• Broad understanding of ADIB’s retail operational policies and procedures.
• Good knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations and associated risks.
• Familiarity with anti‑money‑laundering regulations issued by the UAE Central Bank and other authorities.
• Analytical and research skills to define and solve problems.
• Fair knowledge of service standards.
