Technical Architect – High‑Rise Construction

About the role

ASGC, a leading vertically integrated construction group in the UAE, is looking for an experienced Technical Architect to join its Technical Department in Dubai. The role bridges architectural design and construction execution for landmark high‑rise and complex mixed‑use developments, ensuring technical accuracy, BIM coordination, and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate detailed architectural shop drawings, including concrete dimensions, blockwork layouts, and high‑end finishes.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary BIM coordination using Revit and Navisworks, conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts across architectural, structural, and MEP trades.
• Manage façade interfaces, expansion joints, transfer slabs, and core areas for towers 50+ storeys, ensuring seamless integration of envelope systems.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, technical clarifications, and material submittals, coordinating with consultants for approvals.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with UAE Life Safety Code, Dubai Municipality, and Dubai Civil Defense requirements.
• Provide on‑site technical support, resolve buildability issues, and oversee as‑built documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 8–15 years of architectural technical coordination experience in construction.
• Minimum 5 years with a Tier‑1 contractor in the UAE.
• Proven involvement in high‑rise towers (50+ storeys) or complex mixed‑use projects.
