Technical Instructor

About the role

Etihad Engineering is seeking a Technical Instructor to join its Maintenance Training team. You will design, develop and deliver specialised training solutions that support the organisation’s aircraft maintenance programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Subject Owner for training solutions, ensuring compliance with CAR/Part‑147 regulations.
• Analyse training needs, conduct Job and Gap Analyses, and generate Training Needs Assessments.
• Create training syllabi and develop comprehensive course material.
• Deliver classroom and practical training sessions in line with company policies.
• Invigilate examinations and compile exam questions for the internal question bank.
• Maintain attendance registers, student records and uphold behavioural standards.
• Report compliance status to Training Managers and participate in training meetings.

Required profile

• Valid GCAA licence and/or EASA Part 66 certification.
• ICAO Type II rating or an appropriate engineering degree.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or training environments.
• Type ratings on A320, A350, A380, B787 (V2500/CFM56) and A320 NEO.
