Technical Office Engineer

About the role

MAVEN is seeking a Technical Office Engineer to support its structural strengthening, concrete repair and waterproofing projects across the UAE. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, site engineers and consultants to ensure technical and commercial aspects are delivered on time and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs and contract documents.
• Prepare and coordinate shop drawings for structural strengthening, concrete repair, waterproofing and related specialist works.
• Produce technical and material submittals, method statements and other project documentation.
• Carry out quantity take‑offs and cost estimations for materials, labour, equipment and subcontracted works.
• Support technical and commercial evaluations for variations and additional works.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, procurement and other stakeholders.
• Follow up on consultant approvals for drawings, materials, method statements and other submissions.
• Provide technical support to site teams during execution and maintain proper technical records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical office engineering, preferably with structural strengthening and concrete repair.
• Strong knowledge of estimation, quantity take‑off, shop drawing preparation and technical submittal processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, BOQs and approval procedures.
• Excellent coordination, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
