Technical Product Owner – Airline Engineer, MRO & Digital Aircraft

About the role

Emirates Group IT is seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead product engineering teams within the Airline Engineering, MRO, and Digital Aircraft domain. The role bridges business needs and technology delivery, ensuring that product backlogs are well‑defined, prioritized, and aligned with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own story content, acceptance criteria, and final sign‑off across multiple team backlogs.
• Capture, refine, and prioritize technical debt, non‑functional requirements, BAU, ceremonies, and spikes.
• Prepare and contribute to PI demos and attend PI Planning sessions.
• Maintain feature quality and integrity, flagging risks and dependencies to the product portfolio backlog.
• Define metrics to measure success and performance of prioritized work.
• Participate in building a community of Product Owners, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role in an agile environment.
• Strong understanding of airline engineering, MRO, and digital aircraft operations.
• Ability to act as the voice of the customer and partner effectively with business stakeholders.
• Experience leading and empowering cross‑functional product engineering teams.
