Technical Sales Engineer – Data Center Services

About the role

TÜV SÜD is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive growth of its Data Center Services in the Middle East. You will act as the primary contact for customers, selling certifications, testing, advisory services and building long‑term partnerships across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for data‑center QA/QC, assessments, certification, testing and commissioning.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with owners, colocation providers, hyperscalers, system integrators, consultants and contractors.
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through contract closure, preparing technical and commercial proposals.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and scope while aligning with company objectives.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and industry associations to strengthen market presence.
• Act as technical advisor, understanding client requirements and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to define scope, methodology, timelines and resource needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in technical sales or business development for data‑center services.
• Proven ability to build and manage a sales pipeline and close complex contracts.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with customers and partners.
