Technical Sales Specialist – Clinical Diagnostics

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to drive growth of its Clinical Diagnostics portfolio in Dubai. You will combine deep technical knowledge with commercial acumen to support hospitals, laboratories and diagnostic centers, helping customers achieve reliable results while expanding market share.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell clinical chemistry reagents, Indiko systems and toxicology solutions across the assigned territory.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in hospitals, labs and diagnostic centers.
• Provide technical consultations, product demonstrations, and support installations, validations and troubleshooting.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, lab managers and procurement teams.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals and quotations.
• Achieve sales targets, margin goals and key performance indicators.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to adapt sales strategies.
• Collaborate with internal marketing, service, applications and channel partners for seamless execution.
• Maintain accurate pipeline management and reporting through CRM tools.

Required profile

• Advanced degree or Bachelor’s in Biomedical Science, Clinical Chemistry, Pharmacy, Laboratory Sciences or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in technical sales or application support within diagnostics or healthcare.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of clinical chemistry and toxicology testing.
• Experience with automated analyzers, preferably Indiko platforms.
• Familiarity with laboratory workflows and CRM tools.
