Technical Services Engineer III – Cabin Upgrades & Reconfigurations

About the role

The Technical Services Engineer III will support Emirates’ cabin fleet by managing technical upgrades, reconfigurations and continuing airworthiness. You will ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards while enhancing passenger comfort and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Provide fleet technical management and continuing airworthiness support for cabin upgrades and reconfigurations.
• Evaluate manufacturers’ and regulatory technical documents and update internal Engineering Orders and Special Engineering Workcards.
• Analyse in‑service data (tech logs, pilot reports, defects) to improve reliability, maintainability and optimise maintenance programmes.
• Act as technical liaison with aircraft, engine and component manufacturers and internal stakeholders to resolve faults, design issues and quality escapements.
• Support acquisition of new aircraft and end‑of‑lease activities with technical expertise.
• Deliver technical assistance during disruption scenarios, including AOG handling, troubleshooting and management of chronic or deferred defects.
• Contribute to major modification projects, retrofits, cabin reconfigurations and aircraft phase‑out requirements.
• Review and analyse technical data to monitor KPIs, identify trends and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aircraft cabin technical services or similar aviation engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of continuing airworthiness regulations and cabin system requirements.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external manufacturers.
