Technical Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Anduril Industries is building next‑generation wargaming facilities to run massive‑scale simulations of autonomous systems in contested environments. As the founding Site Reliability Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the infrastructure that keeps these simulation platforms reliable and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the simulation software stack, handling installation, configuration, updates, and version management across all Simulation Center tools.
• Design and implement robust, scalable infrastructure that supports high‑throughput, real‑time simulation workloads.
• Detect, diagnose, and resolve failures before they impact users, ensuring repeatable reliability.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to validate releases and provide infrastructure ownership.
• Document processes, create runbooks, and drive continuous improvement of operational practices.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on reliability and automation.
• Experience working at the intersection of hardware, simulation software, and distributed systems.
• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi after an initial hiring phase in London.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multinational engineering team.
