Technical Training Coordinator

About the role

The Technical Training Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the planning, coordination, and delivery of technical training programs for engineering staff. The role ensures training records and compliance documentation are accurately maintained while assisting the department’s digital transformation to a Learning Management System (LMS).

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics and administrative processes for technical training sessions, ensuring smooth delivery and regulatory compliance.
• Manage training records, attendance, certificates, and compliance reports using Excel and existing manual systems.
• Prepare, distribute, and archive training materials and documentation required for licensing and audits.
• Support the transition from manual/Excel‑based tracking to an LMS, including digitalising training processes.
• Liaise with Technical Services and other departments to keep training records up‑to‑date.
• Generate compliance and performance reports for audits, inspections, and internal reviews.
• Provide administrative assistance for departmental projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Assist with the publication of eLearning or digital training packages once the LMS is operational.
• Issue and track certifications/licenses, monitor expiries, and send renewal reminders.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in any discipline or Higher Secondary/Diploma in Administration.
• At least 2 years of experience in training administration or coordination, preferably in the aviation sector.
• Sound knowledge of the aviation industry.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or e‑learning platforms.
• Basic data‑analytics capability.
