Technology Experience Specialist – UI/UX

About the role

At Emirates, the Technology Experience Specialist (UI/UX) will work with product owners, technology partners, developers and business stakeholders to design intuitive digital experiences for complex, data‑rich B2B and enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver user research, visual prototypes and usability testing.
• Drive adoption of the Experience Design playbook across Technical Product Management, Architecture and Development teams.
• Facilitate design‑thinking workshops and training sessions.
• Deliver end‑to‑end user experience for non‑customer‑facing products, from concept to launch and post‑launch monitoring.
• Work with Scrum teams to develop user stories that reflect discovered user needs.

Required profile

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) with minimum 5 years of IT experience.
• Proven UX/Product design experience on complex B2B, enterprise or operational applications, demonstrated through a strong portfolio.
• Experience with design systems, service design, user research and usability testing.
• Ability to work across discovery, conceptual design, prototyping, detailed interaction design and delivery.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma (components, variables, libraries, prototyping).
• Strong knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, data visualisation and usability.
• Experience with design tools such as Visio, Adobe Suite, Sketch, InVision.
• Agile product team experience and strong stakeholder management.
