Telecommunication Engineer – UAE National Only (Dubai)

About the role

The Telecommunication Engineer will design, install, test, commission and maintain telecom systems for rail, metro and large‑infrastructure projects in Dubai. This position supports the full project lifecycle, from concept through hand‑over, ensuring solutions meet technical standards, safety regulations and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in design, installation, testing and commissioning of telecom systems.
• Review specifications, drawings and contracts to produce BOQs, technical submittals and method statements.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, vendors and clients to align telecom requirements.
• Conduct site surveys, support troubleshooting, system configuration and integration.
• Prepare progress reports, KPIs and maintain accurate as‑built documentation.
• Support testing & commissioning activities (FAT, SAT) and hand‑over processes.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation plans.
• Assist commercial and procurement teams with technical evaluations.

Required profile

• University degree in Electronic, Telecommunication or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in telecom engineering, preferably on metro/rail or large‑infrastructure projects.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong coordination and communication abilities.
