Telephone Operator

About the role

As a Telephone Operator you will be part of the Front Office team at Swissôtel Al Murooj, ensuring guests receive warm, sincere assistance and a smooth stay. You will handle incoming calls, provide information, and support guests throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Answer guest calls promptly, provide accurate information and assist with inquiries.
• Maintain telephone system functionality, report any defects and ensure all equipment is operational.
• Update and manage guest records, including history and database entries.
• Prepare and communicate guest complaint summaries to supervisors.
• Monitor daily events, meetings and functions, and keep the log book up‑to‑date.
• Uphold Swissôtel standards by delivering courteous, friendly and professional service at all times.

Required profile

• College graduate or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum one year experience in a telephone operator or front‑office reception role.
• Proficiency with computer systems and standard office software.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work effectively in a team.
