Teller

About the role

As a Teller at Emirates Islamic, you will be the front‑line representative delivering exceptional customer service while accurately processing a wide range of banking transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, remittances, cheque cashing and loan payments with accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage cash drawers, perform balancing and follow security procedures.
• Open and service customer accounts in line with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly and provide product referrals.
• Maintain transaction records and ensure compliance with operational and audit standards.
• Support overall branch operations and collaborate with colleagues to meet service quality targets.

Required profile

• UAE national holding a Family Book.
• High school diploma, diploma or bachelor’s degree; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Previous experience in banking, cash handling, retail, hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal abilities and attention to detail.
• Basic numerical and computer proficiency.
