Theoretical Knowledge Instructor – Aviation Training

About the role

Etihad Aviation Training is seeking a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor to deliver high‑quality classroom training for student pilots, flight crew, instructors and examiners. You will work in a regulatory‑approved environment, ensuring learners acquire the knowledge and confidence needed for safe aviation careers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical knowledge training in line with regulatory requirements, approved syllabi and Etihad standards.
• Conduct courses supporting licensing, qualification and professional development of aviation personnel.
• Maintain the highest levels of training quality, instructional effectiveness and standardisation.
• Teach across multiple aviation subjects, integrating operational and academic expertise.
• Collaborate with the Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor to address training matters and support trainee progression.
• Incorporate current regulations, industry best practices and modern training methodologies into course delivery.
• Monitor trainee performance, provide feedback and intervene when performance concerns arise.
• Maintain accurate training records, reports and documentation in compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture by identifying risks and supporting mitigation measures.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance training effectiveness and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• College degree or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant aviation operational background and instructional experience.
• Strong understanding of applicable aviation regulations and training standards.
• Ability to deliver engaging, standardised training programmes.
• Excellent communication and feedback skills.
