Trading Assistant – Portfolio Financing

About the role

OCR Alpha, in partnership with a multi‑billion‑dollar global hedge fund, is looking for a Trading Assistant to support its Treasury function in Abu Dhabi. The role is hands‑on, working closely with fixed‑income traders and external counterparties across London and Asia to ensure accurate execution and management of financing transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Book and manage fixed‑income trades, including coupon blending and rollovers.
• Execute FX hedging strategies and perform swap compression.
• Maintain the full trade lifecycle from booking to post‑trade monitoring.
• Collaborate with traders and counterparties to resolve booking discrepancies.
• Support regional treasury initiatives, including Middle Eastern IPO financing.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a hedge fund or investment‑bank trading support function.
• Strong understanding of fixed‑income, equities, and cross‑asset markets.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑regional environment.
