Traditional Trade Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Traditional Trade Supervisor to lead our FMCG sales team in Dubai. The role focuses on driving sales through traditional and general trade channels, ensuring product availability and strong relationships with distributors and retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage Traditional Trade sales activities and team performance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
• Monitor sales targets, market coverage, and distribution.
• Conduct regular market visits and identify business opportunities.
• Ensure product availability, visibility, and proper execution in stores.
• Track sales performance and prepare regular reports.
• Monitor competitors, pricing, promotions, and market trends.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in Traditional/General Trade.
• Strong knowledge of the Dubai market and traditional trade channels.
• Previous sales supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience managing relationships with retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and key accounts.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and grow sales within an assigned territory.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Good leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to conduct regular market visits and work in a field‑based environment.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• UAE driving licence preferred.
• Malayalam or Hindi language skills preferred.
• Good command of English.
• Immediate joiners preferred; candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.
