Travel & Tourism Teacher

About the role

LEAMS Education is seeking a qualified Travel & Tourism Teacher to join its British Curriculum school in Dubai. The role involves designing and delivering engaging lessons that develop students' knowledge of travel, tourism, and hospitality while fostering a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Travel & Tourism lessons aligned with the British Curriculum.
• Develop students' understanding of industry concepts through varied teaching strategies and practical activities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote an inclusive atmosphere.
• Create teaching resources, assignments and assessment materials.
• Collaborate with colleagues, the Head of Department and school management to achieve departmental goals.
• Participate in school meetings, activities and professional development programmes.
• Undertake any additional teaching‑related duties assigned by school leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Travel & Tourism.
• 1‑2 years of teaching experience in a British Curriculum school.
• Strong knowledge of travel, tourism and hospitality concepts and industry practices.
• Proven ability to plan lessons, assess progress and manage a classroom effectively.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Immediate availability preferred; candidates already residing in the UAE are favoured.
