Treasury Back Office Officer

About the role

RAKBANK is seeking a dedicated Treasury Back Office Officer to manage post‑trade activities for its Fixed Income Desk. The role focuses on accurate settlement, reconciliation and lifecycle management of a wide range of investment securities while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Process end‑to‑end settlement of Fixed Income, Equities, Repo and Reverse Repo transactions.
• Validate and authorise trade bookings from Front Office teams.
• Handle securities such as Bonds, Sukuk, Treasury Bills, UAE M‑Bills and EMTNs throughout their lifecycle.
• Monitor coupon payments, profit distributions, maturities, redemptions and corporate actions.
• Manage equity settlements, dividends, stock splits, bonus and rights issues.
• Perform daily reconciliations of securities positions, custodian, Nostro and GL balances.
• Support treasury accounting, regulatory reporting, audit activities and period‑end closing.
• Drive process‑improvement, automation initiatives and UAT activities.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in Treasury Operations, Securities Operations or Capital Markets Operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Bonds, Sukuk, Treasury Bills, Equities, Repo and Reverse Repo products.
• Strong understanding of securities settlement, custody operations and corporate actions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics or related field.
• ACI or CISI certification is an advantage.
