Tunneling Lead – Infrastructure – Abu Dhabi

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a senior Tunneling Lead to oversee all tunnelling activities for infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures technical excellence and strict safety compliance throughout the entire tunnelling lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all tunnelling operations from planning to execution.
• Monitor compliance with technical standards, safety regulations and project specifications.
• Lead inspection teams and manage the use of tunnelling software for progress tracking.
• Provide decision‑making support and guidance to multidisciplinary teams on site.
• Maintain documentation and reporting for client and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, geotechnical or mining engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in tunnelling supervision.
• Relevant tunnelling certifications and a strong safety record.
• Proven ability to lead teams and make critical decisions under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tunnelling software.
• Expertise in inspection procedures for underground works.
