UAT Tester / QA Analyst – FCC Systems

About the role

The UAT Tester / QA Analyst will plan, design and execute User Acceptance Testing for Transaction Monitoring and Customer Risk Rating systems, ensuring compliance with AML/CFT regulations before go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Develop UAT strategies, test plans and entry/exit criteria for system implementations or upgrades.
• Translate AML typologies into testable scenarios and design boundary‑case testing for threshold logic.
• Execute test scripts, validate alert generation, case creation and sanctions screening configurations.
• Log defects, track remediation and maintain an audit‑ready test evidence trail.
• Prepare traceability matrices, defect logs and UAT summary reports for governance approval.
• Liaise with compliance, IT and vendor teams to resolve testing issues and support business users during sign‑off.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, information systems or related field.
• 3+ years experience in financial crime compliance or compliance technology testing.
• Hands‑on experience with UAT for Transaction Monitoring or Customer Risk Rating systems.
• Solid understanding of AML/CFT frameworks, KYC/CDD/EDD processes and sanctions screening.

Required skills

• UAT design and execution for Transaction Monitoring (TM) and Customer Risk Rating (CRR) systems.
• Familiarity with AML/CFT platforms such as Actimize, SAS AML, Oracle Mantas, Norkom.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, TestRail.
• Knowledge of SAR/STR filing processes and typology‑based scenario design.
